This year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed marked 75 years of Formula 1 with an impressive showcase of cars spanning the sport’s history, alongside appearances from five former World Champions over the four-day event.

BRM was invited to display the legendary V16, with Chassis IV presented as a static exhibit, while “Old Faithful” BRM P578— shipped from the REVS Institute in the United States — took to the hill climb.

“Old Faithful” holds a special place in F1 history as Graham Hill’s championship-winning car. To honour that legacy, Damon Hill drove it on Thursday, followed by Nigel Mansell on Friday.

The car was maintained throughout the weekend by Hall and Hall, with Rob and Andy also taking turns behind the wheel.
