British Racing Motors is Britain’s original F1 Team. World Champions in 1962 and raced over three decades by legends of motor racing, including Juan Manuel Fangio, Sir Stirling Moss, Graham Hill, Sir Jackie Stewart and Niki Lauda

One of the most famous names in British motor racing, we are the only UK Formula One world championship winning team to design and build complete cars

Many of the world’s greatest drivers drove BRMs, including six world champions

We made some of the world’s most technically advanced and successful Formula 1 cars including the most ambitious, powerful and sensational sounding F1 car of its day — the 1949 V16-powered BRM

The Races

Between 1950 and 1974, BRM raced in 175 races with 17 Grand Prix wins, 61 podiums, 15 Fastest Laps, 11 Pole Positions. We won the Drivers World Championship and Constructors title in 1962 and were runners-up in the Constructors Title in 1963, 1964, 1965 and 1971
