Our History
One of the most famous names in British motor racing, we are the only UK Formula One world championship winning team to design and build complete cars
We made some of the world’s most technically advanced and successful Formula 1 cars including the most ambitious, powerful and sensational sounding F1 car of its day — the 1949 V16-powered BRM
Between 1950 and 1974, BRM raced in 175 races with 17 Grand Prix wins, 61 podiums, 15 Fastest Laps, 11 Pole Positions. We won the Drivers World Championship and Constructors title in 1962 and were runners-up in the Constructors Title in 1963, 1964, 1965 and 1971
