We are saddened to announce the passing of Pete Austin on the evening of the 28th June 2023. Pete was a highly respected motorsport journalist and photographer, as well as a wonderful ambassador and supporter of all things BRM over many years.
He was a hugely active member of the BRM Association, attending many of our BRMA Tracks Days, and contributing to last year’s 60th Anniversary and Jubilee celebrations in Bourne – the town he adopted as his home.
He was a key contributor to our 60th Anniversary exhibition at Silverstone Museum, penned a wonderful publication with Auto Tradition to mark the 60th Anniversary of our 1962 World Championship, and will be a sorely missed member of both the BRM Association and our Paddock Pass membership programme.
